BGS Federal Government Shutdown Assistance Fund 2025
At BlackGirlScientist, we love and support our federal family. We know that any amount of help can go a long way, so we’re doing what we can to support those impacted.
We are offering 10 financial assistance microgrants of $75 to individuals who have been impacted by the 2025 Government Shutdown (federal employees, federal contractors, fellows, interns, non-federal employees that have been laid off or impacted by the shutdown). This is a first come, first served basis.

3️⃣ Upload a copy of your furlough/layoff document/email (or send it to blackgirlscientist@gmail.com)
We will contact applicants directly to coordinate fund distribution within our business hours (M-F). This opportunity is open to anyone affected.

At this time we are offering 10 financial assistance grants of $100 to individuals who have been wrongfully and illegally terminated (federal employees, federal contractors, fellows, interns). This is a first come, first served basis.
